What is the DevEx rate in 2026?
There are now two DevEx rates. The standard rate is $0.0038 per Robux (for all earned Robux). A higher U.S. 18+ rate of $0.0054 per Robux (introduced June 2026) applies to spend from age-verified 18+ players in the U.S. — a 42% increase. This means 30,000 Robux is worth approximately $114 USD at the standard rate, or $162 USD at the 18+ rate.
Who qualifies for the U.S. 18+ DevEx rate?
The $0.0054/Robux rate (introduced June 2026) applies to Earned Robux generated from age-verified 18+ U.S. players. Your experience must use R15 avatars and meet Roblox's creative quality standards. You can track eligible earnings separately in your Creator Analytics dashboard.
How long does Tipalti take to process?
Once approved by Roblox, Tipalti typically processes bank transfers in 3-5 business days. First-time users may experience longer delays due to tax identity verification (W-9/W-8BEN).
Do I need Premium or Roblox Plus to DevEx?
No. As of 2025, Roblox removed the Premium subscription requirement for DevEx. The newer Roblox Plus subscription (introduced April 2026) is also not required. You simply need 30,000 Earned Robux, identity verification, a Tipalti account, and valid tax documentation on file.
Are 'Earned' and 'Bought' Robux different?
Yes. Only Robux earned through legitimate creator activities (gamepasses, clothing, commissions) are eligible for DevEx. Robux bought via credit card or gift cards cannot be cashed out.
Does my Premium Stipend count?
No. The monthly Robux you receive from your Premium subscription is considered 'bought' or 'gifted' and does not contribute to your earned Robux balance for DevEx.
How often can I cash out?
You can submit a DevEx request once per calendar month. We recommend waiting until you have a substantial amount to minimize processing effort and fees.
Is there a maximum amount?
While you can cash out millions of Robux, Tipalti (the payment processor) may have different tiers of verification (KYC) required for very large sums to prevent fraud.
